Robert S. McNamara is dead at 93, introduced to Gustavo Dudamel (begins conducting LA Philharmonic this year) on YouTube, and bookmarked Sarah Zaslaw's midday music blog for GPB during the playing Tchaikovsky's 5th symphony. Tried to bike it to YMCA with my gym bag strapped to my back -- no way, turned back about a 1/2 mile into the trip (too hilly, this heavy Trek mountain bike is a bear to cycle up hills) -- and drove to "Y" to watch a car chase (Dodge caravan -- driver suspected of stealing a car) in Houston. Finally got him when he pulled into a parking garage and arrested suspect on the top with a police dog being held back.
