After these many months of watching the kids on the corner of Kingsgate Lane & Nicholby Drive playing, constantly, I met them, courtesy of Dancer, of course, and their parents. They are black children with white parents. Michael, who is high-functioning autistic, and Tommy, outgoing and inquisitive, and their caring parents Ed, from New Jersey, and his native Delawarean wife, Lisa, and their dog, seen from the inside, who resembles Dancer and may have the same chow/Golden Retriever lineage.
